Okay let me post this out before I forget the details okay!!! Then after that I'm gonna bring you guys back to my 2015 Tokyo post (scheduled April 2016)!

So here goes my list of 5 things to do in Hong Kong, the land of Dim Sum (点心)!

1. Take the tram, enjoy the view from The Peak.

As touristy as it sounds, it's quite enjoyable to spend some time, taking the tram up, and enjoy the view from the Sky Terrace. I went up once in 2007 with my dance mates when I was in Hong Kong for the first time, and during that time was Typhoon period, a huge bumper. This time round it was winter-spring season and I LOVE THE WEATHER. It's around 14-17 degrees celsius. It's the cold wind that makes it very SHIOK.

2. Eat at One Dim Sum because it's the ONE and ONLY store in HK.

As compared to Dim Dim Sum, this is much better. The quality of food is better than DDS. I can only say DDS disappointed me. Their famous piglet salted egg bun, was not runny, not oozing out when I squeezed them. Hargow skin tooooooo thick. (Maybe I was unlucky) The only thing I think is worth the try is the squid! No idea what's it called but I featured it inside my video.

As I was saying, you HAVE TO try One Dim Sum when you are in HK!!! They are located near Prince Edward MTR station (I can't remember which exit but it's a 5-10 mins walking distance from the exit)
The above collage are my favourites dishes from One Dim Sum!

Mango roll is their newly added item and it's SO GOOD. I should have ate another plate before coming back :-( Remember to order their hargow, siewmai, cheong fan with fritters, chicken feet, raddish cake, and beancurd skin smth (鲜竹卷)

3. Forget about Hui Liu Shan, go for Chung Kee.

Look at the Mango. This is called mango pudding with fresh mango (I don't think it's in the menu) I told them I want mango pudding with mango and they serve me this. The pudding texture is on point, mango is sweet, the overall combo is just so heavenly.

This is coffee pudding(?) with Mango Icecream (you can choose whatever flavour icecream you want from the menu). This is something different, I love this but my parents don't really fancy it. It's like shaved ice but not shaved ice. I don't know how to describe in words, you have to try it to know for yourself.

My parents ordered this and they liked it so we went back Chung Kee for the second time and they ordered this again!!! There's another type where you can choose your own riceball flavour!

4. Stuff yourself with Honolulu Egg Tarts.

Located at Wan Chai, 5-7 mins walk from exit A (please check with google map).

The crust is flaky-ish not those tart crust. It's not "chaotar" like portugese egg tarts but it's somehow similar. Egg custard very flavourful, a little sweet but it's still better than Kam wah's & Uncle fong's. I passed by Tai Cheong but didn't try it because I sort of don't believe in chain stores anymore after DDS. But anyways SG has an outlet so yup. No loss. ;D

5. Blend in with the locals, take the local transports.

- Tramways

After buying Honolulu egg tarts, I lead my parents go one of the tram bus stop, we took the tram from there to causeway bay (Hysan Place) and went shopping!

- Star Ferry

Taken from near the Star Ferry Pier.

We took from Central to Tsim Sha Tsui, paid the tickets using Octopus Card, easy peasy, fuss free!

- Took public bus.
Took the bus from Star Ferry Pier terminal to a bus stop near Chung Kee dessert.

6. Visit Lan Fong Yuen if you love macaroni like me.

Located at B1 of CKE shopping mall.

I freaking love macaroni.

This bowl of grilled chicken macaroni soul hits me right on the spot. I missed this so much. It's even better than ADC's macaroni soup (I was raving about how I love ADC's macaroni soup) but this wins hands down.

They have a different variety, you can pick ham and egg with macaroni etc etc, go try it!!! Even if you don't fancy macaroni.

7. Australia Dairy Co met my expectations

LOOK AT THOSE FLUFFY SCRAMBLED EGGS!!!

I love the softness and the taste of it. I am planning to recreate the taste!!! But I do know people who wouldn't like this, *shift eyes look at TK*, he doesn't like eggs being like this, he prefers it FULLY COOKED. Which is mega NONO. Eggs so cooked are not nice anymore.

Plain yet flavourful macaroni but sorry LFY had outdone you. :-(

Not a huge fan of hot desserts but STEAM MILK PUDDING. ADC you took my breath away ;O This is so good but a little too sweet, I won't recommend one person a bowl, maybe 2-4 pax sharing the calories would be good.

Here's my 7 things to do in Hong Kong!

Hope you guys enjoy your own trip to HK as much as I did. I would love to go back HK in autumn-winter or winter-spring again.

Share this post around if you think it's good pointers for your trip planning, watch my HK 2016 diary on my YouTube channel or you can watch it at the side.
